1935

Jacard & Pérez was founded as a company specializing in local produce, which would later expand into importing machinery and lubricants.

1947

Jacard & Pérez establishes its wool and yarn textile company.

1963

Perez & Jacard was founded as a company representing foreign firms for the sale of industrial raw materials in Chile.

1973

Construction of the first owned warehouse, which would later become the Santiago distribution center.

1983

Distribuidora Portland S.A. was founded to develop the local distribution business.

1998

Development of IMO warehouses and expansion of the Santiago Distribution Center (Phase I).

2005

The Santiago Distribution Center grows through the acquisition of neighboring facilities (Phase II).

2007

ISO 9001 and Responsible Care certifications are obtained.

2008

Start of operations of Portland SAC subsidiary in Peru.

Relocation to new corporate offices in Las Condes, Santiago, Chile.

EPOXA S.A.
Acquisition of EPOXA from the Orbis Group of Colombia.

2010

Start of operations in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador.

2014

Acquisition of EPOXA from Orbis Group of Colombia.

Relocation to new corporate offices in Las Condes, Santiago, Chile.

2016

Portland SAS Colombia subsidiary begins operations.

2020

Construction of new distribution center in the Port of San Antonio.

2022

IBC Washing Services: IBC washing service installation for the Chemical Industry (IMO 8 & 9), Food, and general cargo

2023

Expansion and optimization of the operational capacity of the Logistics Center at the San Antonio Plant

2024

Oil packaging service:
Construction of bulk oil fractioning into smaller containers, from 5 liters to 1000 liters. Operated under an HACCP food safety system, audited by an external organization.

2026

Portland starts a new station for the transshipment of flammable liquids at its facilities in San Antonio, strengthening its operational autonomy and expanding flexible solutions for its clients.
